Whether it is your first time moving or your millionth time moving, you probably know it is never as easy and smooth as you want it to be. Here is a moving checklist that will help you stay organized and on top of the chaos that usually happens when moving. GOOD LUCK!!

Utilities– Don’t forget to get the utilities disconnected from your previous home and connected to your new home!

Change of Address– Forward your mail to your new address by contacting the U.S. Post Office.

Driver’s License– If you are moving from a different state, you will need to get a new drivers license for your new address.

Schools– Register your children at their new school and get their transcripts from prior schools.

Packing– Give yourself plenty of time to pack everything. If you are naturally a procrastinator, make sure you schedule your procrastination time. This will help prevent last minute stress while trying to get everything done.

Help…LOTS of help– The more help you have the easier the process will be.
